Week 9: Homeward Bound

And so, my time in India comes to an end. I fly home to France tomorrow before going back to school at McGill, in Montreal.

After three rounds of proofreading and editing, the translation and editing process is finally finished. The next step is transferring everything to our layout designer before the files get sent to Full Circle Publishing in New Delhi for publication. Full Circle will then send the books to the nearby TCRPC headquarters for distribution across India, Nepal and Bhutan.

I’ll leave you with my friend Ksenya’s pictures of the Kora in McLeod Ganj (Upper Dharamsala). The Kora is a meditative walk that practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism believe absolves bad karma. The one in McLeod circumambulates the Dalai Lama’s temple.

I want to thank everyone for their generosity and kindness. None of this could have happened without you.

As the Tibetans say: “May all sentient beings be happy!”

My friend Chloe (left), with whom I walked the Kora many, many times.
